CEMBUREAU is the organisation, based in Brussels, that represents the cement industry in Europe. The association acts as a spokesbody for the sector and brings to the attention of the European Union issues relating to the use of raw materials, alternative fuels, environmental protection, emissions, biodiversity, occupational health and safety.

In September 2018, Buzzi Unicem became a member of the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA). The Association, founded in London at the start of 2018, brings together leading companies in the production of binders worldwide. Its main objective is to reaffirm that cement and concrete are indispensable materials for the development of a low-carbon economy.
